Icelandic Adventures

This has surely been a summer of exciting travel and lots of new and wonderful happenings at DESIRON. I recently returned from Iceland, and it was absolutlely one of the most amazing places I have ever seen or visited.  

Upon arrival, I spent my first three days in Reykjavik, the capital city. Since no motorcycles were to be found, so I rented a Vespa and drove it all throughout the countryside, including a 165 mile ride up to a glacier. I found a man there renting snowmobiles, and though they were done renting for the day, I convinced him to take me though the icy terrain.  The rest of my time in Reykjavik was spent mingling with the locals and exploring the incredible natural wonders of the country.

Once those three days were up, I ventured with a group of friends to salmon fish in an Icelandic river for the next week. It was by far one of the most relaxing, surreal expiriences of my life.
